Methanolic Extract of Teucrium Polium Exerts Immunomodulatory Properties in Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

Abstract Teucrium polium has been used in traditional medicine around the world for centuries treatment of various conditions and diseases. Many studies have confirmed pharmacological effects its extracts, although immunomodulatory effect not investigated. Therefore, aim our study was to examine methanolic extract T. (TPE) on peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) derived from healthy donors patients with hepatitis C virus HCV infection. We analyzed PBMCs viability using MTT test.
